Thank you for a lovely weekend. The House and Gatehouse were perfect for a large family gathering. The Clocktower was just right for our birthday party – the food was faultless. Nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you so much to you and your team for what was a magical and fantastic weekend. The location was just perfect for our Christening week-end, all the children could have a wonderful play up the tree and in the tree house: the garden was perfect for sack races, and egg and spoon races, and they all loved the chickens, cat and dog. I do think if the cat was around when loading the car he may have come back with us, Oliver was mesmerized by him. Hiring your house was just perfect as the party just carried on until the last ones dropped!
The food was absolutely spot on too and I have had many people asking about the crispy nibbles on arrival – where can they get them, and how lovely both the tomato salad was and the lemon cheesecake.
Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend and your hospitality. I can see us using you again even though we have family in the village!

On behalf of the whole family I would like to thank you for a super weekend. The house was perfect for the family. The party on Saturday evening was the icing on the cake! Everyone was talking about the food on Sunday and saying how lovely it all was.

Wookey Hole excellent value with children. Beaches in area great but most time spent in the gardens with the football team: swimming pool used every day at least once.

We've been meaning to drop you a line sooner to say how much the whole Family enjoyed our week at Rossholme at end Aug/early Sept. It seems an age ago now - as does the sunny weather we had! - but it really was a super house, location and facilities etc. We haven't received any feedback form from Cottages4You hence this email instead. But we certainly have no grumbles and really appreciated your knowledgeable inputs etc. It would be nice to think we will return at some point in the future, who knows. Great house, great location for seeing the surrounding area: dog was lovely, even the cat after eating our bread rolls!!! All members thoroughly enjoyed the gardens. Kitchen was great loads of plates and bowls to go round. Could not have asked for better weather.

Had an amazing 30th birthday weekend for my girlfriend. Lots of costumes, glow sticks and drinks! Amazing house with kitchen able to cater easily for our whole group (19). Perfect weather and even timed it with a fireworks display! All in all a great weekend. Now back to London and back to work. Hope to come again soon”! Going to miss Gussie.

Just a note to say how much we all enjoyed our holiday at Rossholme. It was a fantastic week in a superb location and we felt that we had all our needs cared for so that the self catering side of things went very smoothly with the excellent catering skills of Sarah our youngest daughter!
Of course the weather was a bonus and we are all so grateful that you managed to get the swimming pool up and running for our use. I’m glad you were able to feel that it had good use.

Super weekend. Fabulous sunshine in January got here after lots of snow at home. Great walks, friendly pub even with 14 muddy boots. Fantastic catering made us feel very at home especially extra touches like flowers. Thank you so much to Judy and Gerry and Secretary. We would love to return perhaps in Summer to use pool and tennis courts.

Definitely not a 3* place; definitely worth a 4*. Great hospitality, services. A wonderful house full of history and intrigue. Both Judy and Gerry are wonderful, welcoming and have a great wealth of knowledge – very enjoyable to hear. The family say a great big thank you for making our stay a great one! Climbing up to the pole at midnight should not be missed. A memory that we will all cherish forever. We will definitely recommend Rossholme to all our friends and family!!

Excellent place to stay for the weekend. A run up to the pole and back provided a good workout – 5 reps in 49.52 mins, 6 in 60 mins is possible and still gives you time to eat a cup of tea and bun.
