The idyllic, secluded location at Rossholme provides the perfect setting for this four day course, which is suitable for both beginners and those with experience, culminating in an Exhibition on the fifth day.  Participants will meet daily with the John at 10.00am in the Clock Tower to consider and discuss their aims for the day, before going out to find suitable locations for their landscape paintings.  Courses are tailored to meet individual needs and John is available to offer help, advice and instruction as required. Lunch will be served at 1.00pm in the Clock Tower and in the afternoon participants may continue their painting or there will be opportunity for further review and discussion of paintings in progress.  On Friday an open exhibition of participants’ work will be held in the Clock Tower.  The Course will disperse at about 4.00pm on Friday afternoon.

Obviously the aim of the Landscape Painting Course is to be out doors but arrangements will be made for indoor classes in the event of inclement weather.  You are asked to bring your own paints, easels, canvas, boards and paper, although additional resources will be available for purchase.
